Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa East

It’s a nice place to stay—quiet, clean, and with free parking, which is a big plus. We attended a Christmas party with the Hiligaynon community, with the special guest, Philippine Ambassador Mr. Gonzaga. Thank you to the staff of the Marriott, especially the gentleman who kept my scarf that I accidentally left at the Bistro restaurant during breakfast. The breakfast was good, and the price was fair.

Courtyard by Marriott is excellent in terms of location, which is definitely its highlight. However, the rooms feel dated and could use an update to match the more modern standards of other Marriott properties I’ve stayed at worldwide. It feels more like a serviced apartment than a full hotel experience. Still, its convenient location gives it a solid overall rating

Nice location with clean spacious rooms. Comfortable bed with a huge bathroom (tub and seperate shower). Room also had microwave, bar sink, Lavazza Coffee maker and mini fridge. Under ground parking to keep the vehicle safe (careful where you park as some of the pipes are dripping weird stuff that is hard to remove from your paint). Check in for us was fine, colleagues was not the case and room was not ready for the std 1600 check in time.

Had a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott Ottawa East and would highly recommend it. I stay here once a month. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, with comfortable beds, large flatscreen TVs, and a well-designed workspace that makes it easy to stay productive on the road. The kitchenette area with coffee maker and mini-fridge was a nice added convenience. The hotel amenities are excellent, including a clean pool and hot tub area and a well-equipped fitness centre. Everything throughout the property felt well maintained and thoughtfully designed. One feature that really stood out was the free EV charging, which is a fantastic benefit and made the stay even more convenient. It’s a great perk that not many hotels offer and a big advantage for anyone driving an electric vehicle. Overall, this is a comfortable, modern, and very well-run hotel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Ottawa.

My parents stayed there for a month. Front desk staff was excellent. Accomodated with everything we asked. Housekeeping kept rooms immaculate. Beds were super comfortable. Huge washroom. Plenty of parking inside or out. Really enjoyed their stay there and would definitely come back. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Easy check in, check out. Clean large room. Quiet hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Bed was very comfortable. Only complaint is the room was colder than I like and I couldn't figure out how to use the thermostat at first. Suggestion: Instructions should be provided.

Average larger hotel, good location near the highway. I will say it is slightly dated but clean. It was a popular hotel on the weekend that I was there for visiting youth sports teams. The parking garage was bright and freshly painted. Very steep ramp entering the garage.. I had some challenges finding a convenience store nearby open after 9pm but I probably could have just gone to Walmart. Anyway, reception staff was pleasant and our room was clean. Due to the location near the highway, I would bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Beds were comfy enough though. Only struggle was the limited banks of elevators for such a large hotel. Pack your patience or take the stairs if you are in a rush...without luggage that is

Great hotel. Nice rooms. We got upgraded. Great staff. Nice breakfast for a good price. Nice gym and pool/hot tub. Strategic location by the 417. Was a good price through the marriott app also. Very happy with our stay!
